MRS. ERICKSON DIES AT HOME

Services to Be Friday at Stratford

Mrs. George Erickson, 70, died at 1 p.m. yesterday at her home in Stratford. She had been in poor health the past year.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Stratford Lutheran Church, preceded by brief services at 1:30 at the home in Stratford. The Rev. Hanson will officiate and burial will be at the South Marion Cemetery, Foster's in charge.

Hilma Larson, daughter of Joe and Christine [Nilsdotter] Larson, was born May 23, 1877 in Sweden. She came to the United States in 1912, locating at Des Moines. She was united in marriage July 3, 1913, to George Erickson, and the couple resided in Des Moines until 1928 before moving to Stratford, which has been their home ever since.

Mrs. Erickson was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Survivors include her husband, one step-son, Chester Erickson of Manson; three step-grandchildren, George, Lief and Ica Rose Erickson; one sister, Mrs. Louise Ohrling of Sweden, and one nephew, Erick Ohrling of Des Moines.

She was baptized and confirmed in Sweden and was an active member of the Lutheran church at Stratford.
