WEBSTER CITY - Mildred Erickson, 92, of Webster City, died May 6, 1994, at Crestview Manor Care Center in Webster City.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at South Marion United Methodist Church, southeast of Stratford, with the Rev. Sue-Ellen Sherman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery. Visitation is until 9 a.m. today at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City.

Survivors include sons, Alton, Kansas City, Mo., LaVerne, Grand Junction, and Kenneth, Fairfield; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and brothers, Stanley Anderson, Lee's Summit, Mo., Melvin Anderson, Sioux Falls, S.D., and Hershel Anderson, Ames. She was preceded in death by her husband, and one daughter, two grandchildren, her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Mildred Louise Anderson was born March 23, 1902, on a farm southeast of Stratford. She attended rural schools and graduated from Simpson College at Indianola. She taught in rural schools in the Stratford area. In 1923, she married Floyd Erickson at Boone. The couple lived in Stratford. In 1925, they started farming in the Stratford-Stanhope area, and farmed south of Webster City from 1945 to 1957. They then moved to a farm south of Stanhope. They retired in 1975. They moved to Stratford in 1980; he died later that year. She had been a resident of Crestview Manor since December 1992.

Memberships include United Methodist Women and the Ever-Welcome Class.

Memorials may be made to the church.
