Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Hauge, 91, were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church near Jewell with the Rev. Terry Morgan and the Rev. Enoch Hall officiating with burial in St. Paul's cemetery.

Mrs. Hauge, a former Stanhope area resident, died Friday morning at the Free Church Home at Boone.

Anna Christena Hendrickson, daughter of Hans and Hannah Hanson Hendrickson, was born April 11, 1891, at Jewell. She was reared and educated at Jewell and also attended the Jewell Lutheran college, Highland Park college and Drake University of Des Moines. She taught schools for seven years.

She was married to Clarence Hauge on March 28, 1917. She engaged in farming near Stanhope and in 1943 she returned to teaching in a rural school in Hamilton county and also in the Kamrar Consolidated schools, retiring in 1961.

She is survived by one son, Gaylord Hauge of Jewell; two daughters, Mrs. Elton (Ethel) Brill of Kamrar and Mrs. Dean (Lois) Eckley of Boone; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters, Nels and Carl Hendrickson, Mrs. Laurence (Jesse) Ostrem and Mrs. Emilian (Hattie) Olson.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and an honorary member of the ALCW of the church.
