Mrs. Seiser Died Monday

Mrs. Charles Seiser, 66, longtime Webster City resident, died Monday evening at the Hamilton county hospital where she had been a patient the past four months. She had been in ill health the past two years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Harry T. Ehlers of Colo officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Jeorgia [Georgia] Fern Berogan, daughter of George and Elgie Berogan, was born March 19, 1898 on a farm in Wright county, nine miles northeast of Webster City. She attended the Webster City schools and later attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. She taught schools for several terms in the rural schools of Hamilton county.

She was united in marriage June 11, 1919, to Charles Seiser and the couple farmed in the Webster City vicinity until 1950, when they moved into Webster City to their home at 725 Webster St.

She is survived by her husband; one son and two daughters, Dean Seiser of Webster City, Mrs. Harry (Charlene) McKee of Webster City and Mrs. Ross (Maribeh) Hill of Stanhope; 11 grandchildren, Larry, Diana, Loran and Debra Seiser; Maynard, Maryann, Michael and Matthew McKee; Steven, Pamela and Chris Hill.

Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, John L. Berogan of Des Moines, Mrs. Pete (Opal) Wurdinger of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Elston (Mary) Downs of Webster City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Seiser was a member of St. Paul's Universalist church.

She was a member of the Webster City Garden Club and also of the Town and Country Garden club. She was active for many years in gardening and flower show activities in Webster City and elsewhere in Iowa, and had won many awards for her floral arrangements.
