William Robert “Billy Bob” (Lowrie) Sherrard (aka William Robert Lowrie), 68, passed away April 16, 2018 after courageously fighting pancreatic cancer. Billy Bob was known for his many friendships and for the humorous stories he would tell. He loved camping and was proud of his recent purchase of a camper. Before passing, he was thrilled to camp out with his children, who include: Lori Sherrard DeNee, Greggory Joe Sherrard, and Tonya Sherrard Shoats.

A truck driver for over twenty years, he would often meet up with family and friends across the United States. For many of those truck-driving years, he had his four-legged, loyal side-kick, Bud-Bud, to keep him company. Like his owner, Bud-Bud was an entertainer who was quick to chime in and embellish the Beach Boys’ song “Barbara Ann” with his howling.
