Mrs. Daniel (May) Kirchner, 88, 1224 First St., died early Saturday morning at Crestview Manor, where she had been a resident of three months.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Raymond M. Roden officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

May Andersen, daughter of Adolph and Albertina Andersen, was born Aug. 19, 1889, in Chicago, where she was reared and educated.

On March 24, 1917, she was united in marriage to Daniel E. Kirchner, and the couple resided in Oak Park, Ill. until 1951 when they moved to Webster City.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1973.

She is survived by a foster child, Paul Kirchner of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren, a niece, Mrs. Bill Sowle, and nephew, David Kepler, both of Webster City, and several other nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Mrs. Kirchner was a member of Trinity Luthern church.
