Funeral services for Daniel E. Kirchner, 79, a longtime Webster City resident, will be held at 1:30 Wednesday at the Greenfield Memorial Chapel. The Rev. R.M. Roden will officiate and interment will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Kirchner died Monday morning at the Southfield Care Center following a lengthy illness.

Daniel E. Kirchner, son of Robert and Minnie Gerber Kirchner was born on Jan. 7, 1894, on a farm south of Webster City. He was reared and educated in the Webster City and Waterloo communities.

He was married to Mary E. Andersen of Chicago, and worked as a printing estimator for 33 years, residing at Oak Park, Ill.

Following his retirement, the couple moved to Webster City.

He is survived by his wife; a foster son, Paul Kirchner of Arlington, Texas; and a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Anna) Kepler of Webster City.

Mr. Kirchner was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
