Funeral services for Morris T. Christenson, 91, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Christenson died Monday morning at the Hamilton County hospital. He had been in failing health since August, 1968.

Morris Tom Christenson was born April 5, 1878 in Copenhagen, Denmark. When he was a year and a half old, he came with his grandparents and a younger brother, Chris, to the United States. They located at Minneapolis, later moving to Manson, Iowa, where he was reared and educated.

He was united in marriage March 27, 1900 to Mary Etta Slawson, and the couple resided at Manson for a short time before moving to Gilmore City and later to Rolfe. In 1908, the family moved to Webster City and resided here until 1946 when they moved to Brainerd, Minn. They returned to Webster City in 1965.

He is survived by four sons and four daughters: James, Ray, John and Dorance (Larry) Christenson, and Mrs. Mabel Jondal, all of Webster City; Mrs. Janette Keck and Mrs. Frank (Allegra) Dayton, both of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Bernice Short, Minneapolis; 20 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jan. 24, 1969; by one son; his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

He was reared in the Nazarene faith.
