LOSE SECOND SON WITHIN FEW DAYS

John Pierce, Dead at Camp Taylor, to be Buried Here

John Pierce, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pierce of Wall, S.D., died Tuesday evening at Camp Taylor, Louisville, Kentucky, of pneumonia. The remains will be brought here [Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, Iowa] for burial.

The remains of the first son to die, I.G. Pierce, were buried here Sunday. The Pierce family formerly lived here. They moved to Wall, S.D., four years ago. Mrs. Pierce is a sister of Mrs. J.W. Wedding of this city. The telegram announcing the death of the second son came here yesterday while the parents were enroute home. It was forwarded to them.

The deepest sympathy of their many friends goes out to them in the double bereavement that has come to them.
