DIED SATURDAY AT HOME HERE

Funeral Services Tuesday for O.A. Laugerman, Age 64

Oscar A. Laugerman, 64, of Webster City and former long time resident of Rose Grove township, died early Saturday morning at his home here. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Rose Grove Lutheran church preceded by a brief service at the Foster funeral home at 1:15.

The Rev. G.O. Mona, Rose Grove pastor, and the Rev. James T. Stewart, will officiate.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laugerman, Oscar August Laugerman was born on a farm near Elmont, Mo., July 28, 1879. He came to Iowa in 1908, locating in Rose Grove township where he farmed south of Williams until moving to Webster City in February, 1941.

He was married Feb. 14, 1912 to Dena Welland of Williams.

Mr. Laugerman was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister and one son, Lloyd, who died in 1933 at the age of 17.

Surviving are his wife, two sons and four daughters, Mrs. Arnold Hia, living south of Webster City, Harold, in service with the army in North Africa, Lucille, Delores, Gladys and Glen, at home. There is one grandchild, Karen Kay Hia.

One sister, Mrs. Joe Strothkamp, lives at St. Louis, Mo., and a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Steve Mulroy, Henry and Fred Laugerman, make their homes in Sullivan, Mo.

Mr. Laugerman had been baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
