Sell W. Barnett, 92, a longtime Webster City resident, died Thursday at the Hamilton County hospital.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Foster Funeral home with Stanton Twedt officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Sell W. Barnett, son of William and Hattie Sell Barnett, was born May 3, 1889, in the state of California. The family moved to Webster City when he was a child and he was reared and educated here.

He later farmed and then operated an implement business in Webster City until his retirement.

Survivors include one nephew, Bill Irving; one grand-nephew, Jim Irving of Webster City, and one grand-niece, Cynthia McIntire.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mrs. Joe (Estella) Irving; one niece, Mrs. Edna McIntire, and one grand-nephew, Robert Irving.

He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
