Mrs. Severt (Frankie) Berven, 81, longtime Kamrar and Webster City resident, died Friday at the Hamilton County hospital. She had been in failing health the past three years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran church with the Rev. Raymond Roden officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 10 a.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to the church.

Frankie Mable Blue, daughter of Arthur and Anna Seamonds Blue, was born May 29, 1894 at Kamrar. She was reared and educated in the Kamrar community.

She was married Jan. 15, 1913 to Severt Berven, and the couple farmed south of Kamrar until the fall of 1948 when they retired and moved to 1503 Grove St., Webster City.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Helen Wilson of Webster City; three sons, Lyle Berven of Kamrar, Boyd Berven of Webster City and Stanley Berven of Abilene, Kan.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Cleckner and Mrs. Robert (Pearl) McFerren, both of Webster City. She was preceded in death by her husband May 12, 1967; by her parents and one brother, Gurney Blue.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and a member of one of the church circles.
