Rosemary Kepler, 73, of Stratford, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2017 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Reverend Paul Avery, officiating. Burial will follow the services at Cass Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the funeral home.

Rosemary Ann Risetter, daughter of Leo and Mary Patterson Risetter, was born December 4, 1943 in Story City. She attended school in Stratford. She moved to California in 1984. On October 15, 1999 she married Roger Kepler Sr. in Hawthorn, CA. The couple retired to Iowa in 2005, settling in Stratford in 2012. Roger preceded her in death on May 3, 2014.

Rosemary is survived by her children, Tony (Brenda) Baysinger of Eagle Grove, Tonia (Mark) Dorr of Leon, Trent (Lisa) Baysinger of Anoka, MN, Teresa (Paul) Avery of Colfax; step-children, Roger (Lisa) Kepler Jr. of Portsmouth, Ohio, Mike (Marlinda) Kepler of Garden Grove, CA, Michelle Kepler of Riverside, CA; 22 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Trudy (Kim) Elwood of Webster City; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Kepler Sr.; grandson, James Baysinger; brothers, Dave and Kevin Risetter.

Rosemary was a member of the FW Sonksen American Legion Auxiliary in Stratford. She enjoyed reading, camping and being with her family.
