Mrs. Julius A. Peters, 50, died at 12:03 this morning at the county hospital where she had been a patient for the past week. She had been in poor health the last few years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Foster funeral home with Rev. Jonathan Nielsen officiating and with burial at Graceland cemetery.

Mary Wood, daughter of Henry and Melva Wood, was born July 10, 1898 in California, Missouri. She attended the schools and grew to young womanhood in that community.

On Dec. 22, 1928 she was united in marriage to Julius Peters of California, Mo. and they started housekeeping on a farm in that community. In 1937 they moved to Webster City and this had been their home since that time.

Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Pearl, who died in 1938 at the age of 16 years, also by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Verle Kruger of Webster City, three sons, Earl of Stanhope, Vernon and Victor at home, also eight grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters and four brothers: Ethel Springs of Sedalia, Mo.; Pearl Harris of New Jersey; Mrs. Alta Groom, California, Mo.; Mrs. Della Stahl, Tipton, Mo.; Blanche Strother, Festus, Mo.; Everett Wood, Copeland, Kans.; Dorsey Wood, Columbia, Mo.; John Wood, Liberty, Mo.; and Gerald Wood, Latham, Mo.

Mrs. Peters was baptized in the Baptist church at California, Mo. of which she is still a member.

A kind and loving wife and mother, Mrs. Peters' main interests in life were her home and family.
