SERVICES FOR MRS. BOZELL

Death Follows Injuries Received in Auto Accident Saturday

WAS 40 YEARS OLD

Funeral services for Mrs. M.F. Bozell of Bancroft, formerly of this city, who died following an auto accident Saturday afternoon, were held at the Foster funeral home this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock.

Manson E. Miller, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiated and burial was made in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Bozell is survived by her husband and one son, Ray, of Fort Riley, Kan. There are also four brothers - W.R. Wood, of Sullivan, Ill.; John E. Wood, of Michigan; James E. Wood, of Indiana, and E.D. Wood, of Peoria, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Bozell were on their way to Ames when the accident occurred north of Humboldt Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. It was said Mr. Bozell slowed the car for a railroad crossing when the car struck loose gravel, swerved to the left side of the road and overturned. It is thought that Mrs. Bozell was thrown against the top of the car.

She was taken to Mercy hospital at Fort Dodge where she died at 4:15 o'clock, death being caused by internal injuries.

Ellen Wood [headstone says Gladys] was born near Sullivan, Ill., June 30, 1890. She was married in Illinois in 1908. Mr. and Mrs. Bozell moved to Webster City where they had made their home for about nine years. About a year and a half ago they moved to Bancroft, where they had since lived.
