Bert Jondal, 67, died at 5:30 a.m. today at the Hamilton county where he had been a patient the past six weeks. He had been in ill health the past two years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Foster funeral home. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.

Bert Severine Jondal, son of Iver and Bertha Jondal, was born Sept. [FindAGrave information says 6th], 1890 on a farm near Duncombe. He received his education in the schools near Duncombe and grew to young manhood in that community.

He was united in marriage Oct. 28, 1920 to Mabel Christenson. Mr. and Mrs. Jondal farmed near Duncombe for several years, then moved to a home east of Webster City, their home since.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Howard, of Minneapolis, and two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Marjorie) Huisinga, Webster City, and Mrs. Russell (Mary) Powell, Webster City; six grandchildren; one half-brother, Ole Nelson, Fort Dodge, and one half-sister, Mrs. Josephine Stebbins, Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, one brother and one sister.

Mr. Jondal was baptized in the Lutheran faith.
