Nichole Marie Young, infant daughter of Melvin and Sandra Young of Stanhope, died shortly after birth early this morning at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Private family services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lawn Hill cemetery near Stanhope with the Rev. Kent Larson officiating. There will be no visitation planned, according to the Foster Funeral home.

The baby is survived by the parents; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wildt, Sr. of Stanhope and the paternal grandparents, Melvin Young, Sr., St. Paul and Mrs. Gene (Bonnie) Elling of Fort Dodge.
