DIES AT HOME IN STRATFORD

Funeral Services for Mrs. Otto Peterson at Baptist Church

STRATFORD, Iowa, April 15 - Mrs. Otto Peterson, 90, died last night at 10:50 o'clock at her home in Stratford, death following several weeks of illness of complications incident to old age.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Baptist church, the Rev. Applequist officiating. Burial will be made in Stanhope [Lawn Hill Cemetery]. Foster's of Webster City in charge.

Mrs. Peterson leaves her husband, one son, Emil Peterson, of Stratford, and one daughter, Mrs. John Fosberg, of Stanhope. Two sons died in infancy and a daughter, Mrs. Ben Challee, died five years ago.

Mrs. Peterson was born in Sweden and came to the United States in 1882, with her husband. For 30 years the family lived on a farm near Stanhope and for the past 21 years have lived at their home in Stratford.

She was very widely known in both communities where she took an active interest in the affairs of the churches and towns, as long as she was able.
