JEWELL - Mrs. John E. Iverson, 88, a longtime Stanhope resident, died yesterday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the North Grand Care Center in Ames where she and Mr. Iverson had been residing for two years.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Ellsworth with the Rev. Enoch Hall officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Hill cemetery near Stanhope. The body will lie in state at the Becker Funeral home until 1 p.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the church.

Agnes Marie Sandall, daughter of Oscar and Anna Rehnblom Sandall, was born Feb. 20, 1885 at Stanhope.

For several years she was a school teacher in the Stanhope community.

She was married to John Iverson, and the family had farmed for many years in the Stanhope community.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Orville (Inez) Charlson of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. Herschel (Delma) Johnson of Moravia, Iowa, and Mrs. Reuben (Signe) Swenson of Jewell; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Simpson of San Diego, Calif.
