Marion W. Hendrickson, 82, longtime Hamilton county resident, died Thursday evening at the Hamilton County hospital following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral home with Rev. Raymond M. Roden officiating. Burial will be in the Lawn Hill cemetery southeast of Stanhope. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Marion W. Hendrickson, son of Lars and Linnie Larson Hendrickson, was born Jan. 22, 1901, on a farm near Kamrar. He was reared and educated there and later attended Ellsworth college at Iowa Falls.

On Aug. 12, 1942, he was married to Lila Dell Kent at Kamrar, and the couple farmed southwest of Kamrar, later moving to a farm in the Stanhope area.

He was preceded in death by his wife in February, 1966. He moved to Webster City in 1977.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran church at Stanhope.
