H. Loreen Hove, 79, Marion and formerly of Hiawatha, died Dec. 12, 1995 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanhope. Burial will be at Lawn Hill Cemetery in Stanhope. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion.

H. Loreen Hove, daughter of Carl and Eva Riley Adams, was born Feb. 7, 1916, in Webster City. On June 14, 1933, she married Melvin A. Hove in Webster City. In 1975, the couple moved to Hiawatha. Her husband died on Aug. 19, 1992.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Don Vosseller, Marion, Jo and Gary Dike, Ramah, N.M.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hester Wurch, Gwendola Neese, both of Webster City and Jean Stoppelmoor, Kansas City, Mo. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by son, Richard, and brother, Eldon Adams.
