Terry Egger, age 49, of Des Moines, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. A celebration of life service was held Saturday, October 1, 2005 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City. A private graveside service was held Saturday morning at the Lawn Hill Cemetery in Stanhope. Memorials will be given to the Israel Family Hospice House, 400 South Dakota Ave. in Ames, Iowa 50014.

Terry Lee Egger was born June 4, 1956 in Cherokee, Iowa to Donald Paul and Norma Jean (McIntire) Egger. He grew up on the Stanhope area, graduating from South Hamilton High School in 1974. He went to college in Decorah, graduating from Luther College. Terry lived and worked in Seattle and Phoenix prior to moving to Des Moines five years ago. He was Vice President of Group and Meeting Services of Air Fulfillment Services, LLC. Terry loved to travel, enjoyed classical music, watching ballgames and attending shows and symphonies at the Civic Center. He loved his family and returned to Iowa to be closer to his nieces and nephews.

Terry is survived by his mother, Norma; brother, Dennis (Carol) Egger; sister, Donna (Terry) Wells all of Webster City; nieces and nephews, Matt (Theresa), Mike and Melissa Egger, Jason Wells, and Lisa (David) Ely; and great niece and nephews, Chelsea Egger, Jesse and Nathan Ely. His father preceded him in death in 1998.
