Harold Theodore Obe, infant son of James and Marie Obe, died at the Jacob Obe home in Jewell September 16th, after a very severe illness of over three months duration. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon of last week, conducted by Rev. Norstad, at the Obe home in Jewell and at Zion Lutheran church. Interment was made at the Zion church cemetery.

Harold was born at Colorado Springs, Colo. Feb. 6th, 1919. Up to the time of his illness he was a very bright and healthy baby and his death came as a very severe shock to the young parents. The entire community unites with the Record in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved parents in their hour of sorrow.
