WILLIAMS - Edward T. Wilmer, 92, rural Ellsworth, formerly of the Alden-Williams area, died Saturday at the Ellsworth Municipal hospital in Iowa Falls.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church in Williams. The Rev. Thomas Clarence Kruse will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Monday at the Surls-Grupe Funeral chapel in Williams.

He was born May 1, 1885, at Millhousen, Ind., the son of Bernard and Mary Voke Wilmer.

On Feb. 10, 1915, he was married to Katherine Veerkamp [Vierkandt], at Millhousen, Ind., and after their marriage they moved to a farm near Webster City. In 1940 they moved to a farm near Alden where they lived until 1972, when they moved to their home near Ellsworth.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, George Wilmer of Alden, and Edward J. Wilmer of Jewell; two daughters, Mary Wilmer and Mrs. Orval (Betty) Ostebee, both of Ellsworth; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Joseph Wilmer and Mrs. Mary Meyer, both of Greensburg, Ind.
