Mrs. Margaret Wehrheim, 88, longtime resident of Hamilton county, died suddenly at 6:30 Thursday evening at her home, 1314 1/2 Willson Ave. She had been ill the past month.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with Rev. Msgr. A.A. Halbach officiating and with burial in the St. Mary's cemetery at Williams.

Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Foster funeral home.

Margaret Ethel Kearney, daughter of Martin and Hanna Buckley Kearney was born Dec. 25, 1874 on a farm near Dixon, Ill. She came to Iowa with her parents as a child of eight years, locating on a farm west of Williams, later moving to a farm north of Williams.

She was educated in the schools at Williams and attended Ellsworth college at Iowa Falls. She taught school in the rural schools near Williams for several years.

She was united in marriage July 2, 1896 to Conrad Wehrheim of Jewell. The couple farmed near Jewell for two years, then moved to a farm southwest of Williams where her husband preceded her in death March 16, 1939. She continued to make her home on the farm until 1947, when she moved into Webster City and had made her home here since with her daughter, Lorene Wehrheim.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Lorene.

Mrs. Wehrheim was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church and of the Rosary Society of the church.
