Last Rites Held for Pioneer at Williams

BLAIRSBURG, Iowa, May 31 - John Sullivan, pioneer of Hamilton county, died at his home northeast of town Saturday night at 9 o'clock. Mr. Sullivan was born in Ireland and came to this country when a small boy.

He had been in poor health for several years, but became seriously ill only a few days before his death. He leaves his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Roy Fowler, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held yesterday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Williams and burial was made in the Williams Catholic cemetery. Carol Rick was in charge of the funeral.
