SUDDEN HEART ATTACK FATAL

Clair Smith, 27, Blairsburg, Stricken and Dies Quickly

BLAIRSBURG, Iowa, Dec. 13 - Clair Smith, 27, widely known farmer living east of town, died suddenly and unexpectedly early this morning of a heart attack. He had been in his usual health and spent last evening socially with his family. Retiring about 11 o'clock, he was stricken two hours later and died. Funeral arrangements are pending. Rick of Williams, in charge.

Mr. Smith had been married only since last February, his wife having formerly been Miss Hazel Starr, also of Blairsburg. Besides his young wife, he leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Smith, Blairsburg, five brothers and four sisters, Frank, Leo, Donald and Peter, from this community, and Andrew, of Illinois, Mrs. Merle Doyle and Mrs. Frank Campbell, Williams; Mrs. Jacob Thomas, Iowa Falls and Mrs. Cleo McCoy, Boone.
