DEATH OF MICHAEL C. SCOTT - "Mike" Scott, as he was familiarly called, died at his home in Blairsburg township on the 7th last, after an illness of but three or four days. He was a man of great energy and industry, and apparently of the most rugged constitution. His death was the result of acute pneumonia, or congestion of the lungs. He was about 50 years of age, and leaves a wife and several grown children to mourn their great loss. "Mike" had many friends in the community where he had so long lived, and his loss will be seriously felt by his neighbors and all who knew him.
