Roy A. Fowler, 92, a former Blairsburg resident, died early Wednesday morning at the North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City where he had been a patient for the past week. He had been a resident of a nursing home in Hampton for seven and one-half years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Patrick's Catholic church in Hampton, with a 2 p.m. committal service that day at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery at Williams.

Rosary will be Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the Green and Sietsema Funeral home in Hampton.

Mr. Fowler is survived by two sons, John Fowler of Hampton, and Maurice Fowler of Houston, Texas; one brother, Merle Fowler of Iowa City; 23 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife [Elizabeth Sullivan]; one son, one daughter [Mrs. Melvin (Mary) Bell]; one granddaughter and one brother.
