Bonnie Youngdale, 86, of Webster City, died Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Grandview Care Center in Dayton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Stephen Ward (cousin) officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Bonnie Lou Lambert, daughter of Arthur and Frances Selim Lambert, was born December 14, 1930 on the farm near Dayton. She attended school in Burnside until the 5thgrade and graduated from Lanyon Consolidated Schools. On June 18, 1949 she married Kenneth Youngdale in Lanyon. The couple farmed in the Dayton and Gowrie areas before moving to Webster City in 1961. The couple later divorced. After staying home to raise her children, Bonnie was a Homecare Health Aide at Hamilton County Public Health for 20 years.

Bonnie is survived by her children; Randal (Reta) Youngdale of Webster City, Douglas (Carla) Youngdale of Webster City; Julie (Jim) Hoag of St. Paul, MN; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Geneva Hively of Fort Dodge; brothers, Charles Lambert of Fort Dodge, Paul Lambert of Coon Rapids, MN; many nieces and nephews; and Rotary foreign exchange daughter, Adele Barnett of New Zealand.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Duane Youngdale; grandson, Troy Youngdale; brothers, Dennis Lambert, Gary Lambert, Kenneth Lambert-in-infancy; sisters, Marjorie Collen and Maxine Worrall.

Bonnie was a very active member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess, chairman of the Women’s workers, a member of the Choir, a Sunday School Teacher and was faithful in visiting the elderly. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
