I.E. CLABAUGH, WILLIAMS, DIES

Farmer Living Near Town Dies of Spinal Meningitis

Ivan E. Clabaugh, 35, from near Williams, died last evening at his home of spinal meningitis. He had been seriously ill for a month. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Williams Methodist church, conducted by the pastor and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery in Webster City.

Mr. Clabaugh leaves his wife [Dorothy Tuttle] and three daughters, all at home. There is also a brother, C.L. Clabaugh, of Fort Dodge, and a sister, Mrs. V. F. Burton, also of Fort Dodge. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Clabaugh, also of Fort Dodge, survive him.

Mr. Clabaugh was born near Lehigh on a farm. He was married 12 years ago [May 6, 1925 in Fort Dodge, Iowa] and a year later moved to a farm near Williams, where the family had since resided.
