Dorothy Clabaugh, 85, Webster City, died Sunday evening, Feb. 10, at Iowa Lutheran Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 1:30 p.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church, Dr. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation at the Foster Funeral Home will be after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, when the casket will be taken to the church.

Dorothy Amelia Tuttle, daughter of Lester and Minnie (Baker) Tuttle, was born Oct. 7, 1907, on a farm east of Williams. She graduated from Williams High School in 1925. She married Ivan Clabaugh on May 6, 1925, in Fort Dodge. The couple resided in Waterloo for one year, then farmed near Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband in May 1937, and she later moved into Williams. She had lived in Des Moines and Adel and moved to Webster City in 1968. She worked as a practical nurse for several years, retiring in 1965.

She is survived by three daughters, Carmen (Mrs. Vern) Poole and Mary (Mrs. Forrest) Jones, both of Des Moines; and Mabelle (Mrs. Verner) Raska, Webster City; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, her parents, a brother and a sister.

Mrs. Clabaugh was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and Charity Circle, the Webster City Senior Citizens Club, and the Rhythmaires Kitchen Band of the Senior Citizens Club.
