Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames for Harold R. Godown, 90. He passed away Oct. 25, 2008, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Harold served as a District Conservationist for the Soil Conservation Service in Webster City from 1959 through 1969. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the United States.
