Donna (Mrs. Earl) Abbott, 64, of Webster City died Monday morning, Dec. 30 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, where she had been a patient for one day. She had been in failing health since 1981.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 2 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster Funeral home with Rev. Michael Bales officiating. Burial will be in Cass Center Cemetery north of Webster City.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Dec. 31) until the time of service.

Donna Jean Robb, daughter of Clifford and Sarah Askvig Robb, was born July 6, 1927 on a farm near Holmes.

At the age of six, she moved with her parents to Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1944.

On March 24, 1945, she married Earl Abbott at Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City.

She had been employed at Spurgeon's, Scott's and the Webster City school system.

Survivors include her husband, Earl; three daughters and two sons, Janice Moen, Charles Abbott, Dianna Weber, Sandra Ratcliff and Clifford Abbott, all of Webster City; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

She was a member of the New Testament Church of Christ in Webster City and the VFW Auxiliary.
