Anthony (Tony) Halliday, 19, Duncombe, died Aug. 20, 1995, at University Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Roy Miltner and Rev. John Grebner officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foster Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday until 9 a.m. Wednesday, when the casket will be taken to the church.

Anthony Wayne Halliday, son of Robert and Margaret Christian Halliday Jr., was born Sept. 9, 1975, in Webster City. He attended Webster City schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1994. He attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, and he worked part-time at Iowa Central Industries in Fort Dodge.

He is survived by his parents Robert Halliday, Duncombe, Margaret Halliday, Williams; brothers and sisters-in-law Phillip and Bonnie Halliday, Mora, Minn., Robert and Marla Halliday III, Eagle Grove, James Halliday, Duncombe; grandparents Robert and Marian Halliday, Webster City, Mary Perry, Mora, Minn. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Marvin Christian.

He was a regional poster child for muscular dystrophy-North Central Iowa from 1985 to 1987.
