Rosemary Ann Brighton, 52, Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williams with Rev. John Flaherty officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the church and a Rosary set for 7:30 p.m. Surls Funeral home in Williams is in charge of arrangements.

Rosemary Brighton was born Dec. 9, 1949 in Webster City, the daughter of Harold and Bernice (Smith) Brighton. She is survived by her mother, Bernice Brighton, Ankeny; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Veronica Brighton of Iowa City, and Margaret and Curtis McJunkin of North Richland Hills, Texas, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Kris Brighton of Ankeny, Steve and Carla Brighton of Des Moines and John and Ann Brighton of Des Moines, seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold.
