Roberta "Bobbi" Greufe, 78, Pomeroy, died Dec. 3, 2008 at Pocahontas Community Hospital. Funeral services are Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church at Pomeroy. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery near Williams. Visitation is Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the church. A prayer service is set for 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Bobbi was born Oct. 16, 1930 in Cleves, Iowa. She was married to Vernon William Greufe in 1950 and the couple resided and raised their children in the Blairsburg area. She taught CCD for many years at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Williams and received the "Our Lady of Counsel" award for her outstanding service. She was an excellent seamstress and designed and made costumes for parades, church and school programs. She spent many years creating and selling crafts and put much love into everything. She was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and lived for a house full of family, laughter and love.

Bobbi is survived by her children, Lawrence Greufe of Atlantic, Marcia (Dennis) Ehn of Pomeroy, Wayne (Janet) Greufe of Blairsburg, Jolene (Tony) Kellner of Atlanta, GA, Deann Greufe of San Diego, Calif, Angela (Mark) Merceri of Seattle, Wash., Paul (Tara) Greufe of Davenport and Karen (Michael) Muilenburg of Omaha, Neb., 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Bennett of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Merna (Bob) Folkerts of Wasilla, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Evelyn Bullis, brothers Ren and Judson, husband Vernon Greufe and son, David Greufe.
