Robert F. Adams, 57, of Des Moines, a former Webster City resident, died late Wednesday afternoon at the Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient the past three weeks.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. S.W. Cunningham officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Robert Francis Adams, son of I.F. and Gertrude Pruitt Adams, was born Aug. 16, 1916 at Webster City. He was reared and educated here. In 1942, he moved to Des Moines and was employed at Bishop's Cafeteria.

He is survived by one brother, Reginald Adams of Sister Bay, Wis., one sister, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Entriken, Webster City; two nieces, Mrs. L.W. (Charlotte) Schmidt of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Robert (Marlys) Klein of Des Moines; one nephew, David Entriken, Webster City; two great-nieces and five grand-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, who died in infancy; by his sister, Lillian, who died in 1969.

He was a member of the First United Methodist church in Des Moines.
