Mrs. Catherine E. Little, 94, longtime Webster City resident, died Wednesday evening at the Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient the past two years. She had been in ill health the past three and one-half years.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with Father Joseph A. Sullivan officiating and with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery at Duncombe. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home.

Catherine Elizabeth Stark, daughter of B.J. and Anna Schropfer Stark, was born Jan. 21, 1884, at Webster City. She was reared and educated in this community.

She attended Drake University in Des Moines where she graduated with a B.A. degree. She taught in the rural schools in Hamilton county and also at the Lawn Hill school in Webster City. Following her teaching here, she went back to Des Moines to attend Drake University and also taught German in a Des Moines high school. She later received a master's degree in philosophy and education from Drake.

She was united in marriage Oct. 18, 1910 to Harold G. Fagan, and the couple resided in Royal Oaks, Mich., where she taught adult education classes. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1949, and she continued to reside at Royal Oaks until 1955. At that time she returned to Webster City and was united in marriage to Harry A. Little.

The couple resided at 815 Walnut St. where she was preceded in death by her husband Sept. 16, 1974.

She is survived by one daughter and one son, Mrs. Stephen (Catherine) Hollern of Dallas, Texas, and Fred R. Fagan, Webster City; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one niece and three nephews, Mrs. Mary Helen Severson, Webster City, Richard Stark, Webster City, Maurice Stark, Fort Dodge and Father John Stark of Tama, Iowa.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marjorie E. Fagan Dec. 9, 1976; her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Rosary Society and a charter member of the Senior Citizens club.
