G. SCHROPFER, AGE 73, DIES

Death of Widely Known Local Man Follows Heart Attack.

George Schropfer, 73, died last evening shortly before 9 o'clock at his farm home north of town. Death followed a heart attack. He had been in poor health for the past several weeks, but was up and around the house last evening.

Funeral services will be held at the Schropfer home Friday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Father W.J. Baxter, of the Catholic church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery. Foster's in charge.

Mr. Schropfer was born in Czechslovakia Nov. 22, 1852, and came to the United States with his parents when he was eight years old.

He was not married. He leaves one brother, Frank, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stark, who lives northwest of Highview, and Mrs. Charles Biernatzki, of this city.
