Harry A. Little, 90, a longtime Webster City resident, died Monday morning at the Hamilton County Public hospital where he had been a patient for the past week.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with the Rev. Father Joseph Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. The Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home.

Harry Andrews Little was born in Estherville Jan. 13, 1884, the son of Mahlon A. Little and Margaret I. Andrews. In 1896 he moved with his parents to Des Moines and in 1898 to Webster City. He attended the public schools and graduated from the Webster City high school in 1902.

He was then employed as a clerk in the Webster City post office, resigning there in 1904 to enroll at Iowa State University as an engineering student. He graduated from ISU in 1908.

After working on various engineering projects in Iowa, Utah and Montana, he returned to Webster City to become deputy collector of Internal Revenue in north central Iowa.

In 1914 he resumed engineering work in Pocahontas and Hamilton counties as assistant county engineer and became county engineer in Hamilton county in 1920 and in Taylor county in 1926. In 1933 he returned to Webster City and engaged in private engineering.

In 1919 he was married to Elizabeth Moore of Dunlap, Iowa, who died in 1952. In 1955 he was married to Mrs. Catherine E. [Stark] Fagan of Berkeley, Mich., and the couple made their home in Webster City.

He is survived by his wife; a niece, Margaret Firmage of Provo, Utah; one step-son, Fred R. Fagan of Webster City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Steve (Catherine) Hollern and Marjorie E. Fagan, both of Dallas, Texas; and one cousin residing in California.

He was a life member of the Iowa Engineering Society, a 50-year member of the Elks Lodge and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church.
