Former Webster City Resident Passes Away Saturday

Judge Albert C. Biernatzki, a former well known Webster City man died Saturday at his home in Aurora, Ill. The funeral was held yesterday and burial made at State Center, Iowa [Hillside Cemetery] where a child is buried. His only surviving brother, Charles A. Biernatzki, of this city, with Mrs. Biernatzki and their daughter, Miss Marie, Charles Closz and children Irene, Mary, Carl and Irving attended the funeral.

Mr. Biernatzki had been ill for some time and died of bronchial pneumonia. He was in his 65th year. A wife, son and daughter, are the immediate surviving members of his family. His passing was a severe blow to his brother in this city, he having been the second of the Biernatzki brothers to pass away within a month. He was a graduate of the law department at the University of Iowa and for some years was a district judge in South Dakota. Many old time friends here will remember him with kindly sympathies for the relatives in the sorrow that his death has brought to them.
