Mrs. Guy (Ina) Fowler, 77, long time Webster City resident died Sunday evening at the Hamilton county hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. She had been in ill health for several years.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Elder Charles Cackler and Elder Lyle Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland cemetery.

Ina Gladys Rhyan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rhyan, was born July 8, 1893 in Champaign county, Illinois. When she was a small child, she moved with her parents to the Kamrar area where she was reared and educated.

She was united in marriage Jan. 1, 1913 to Guy R. Fowler. The couple made their home on a farm near Blairsburg until 1936, moving then to Webster City where Mr. and Mrs. Fowler operated the former Super-Maid Cafe for 28 years.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elston (Dorothea) Lubbers of Webster City; Mrs. Harold (Arline) Cackler of Independence, Mo.; Mrs. Warren (Beulah) Kelly of Fort Dodge; and Mrs. James (Belva) Van Fleet of Springfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, one sister and her parents.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.
