William "Bill" Jensen, 52, of Webster City, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Van Diest Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Reverend Bob Hayden officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery following the service with military rites by American Legion Post #191. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

William Howard Jensen, son of Howard and Beverly Davis Jensen Jr., was born on December 5, 1962 in Webster City. Bill attended Webster City schools. He served four years in the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Rucker, AL, Fort Riley, KS and Heidelberg, Germany. Bill was employed at Poet Biorefining of Jewell.

Bill is survived by brother, Jeff (Debra) West of Dayton; sister, Jacquie (Randy) McCollough of Webster City; cousin, Lisa (Jim Gatewood) Davis of Webster City; niece, Regan (Brian) Peck of Webster City; nephews, Darren (Rose) Plain of Webster City, Dustin (Shyla) West of Radcliffe, Devin (Shilea) West of Webster City, Tyler McCollough of Des Moines, Cody McCollough of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jill West.

Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #191. He was always up for a lively conversation regarding politics and world events (past or present). Other interests included investing, astronomy, aeronautics and a nice long bike ride.
