Funeral services are being planned at 2 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home for Howard (Bud) Jensen, Jr., 34, with the Rev. R. M. Roden officiating.

Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery where military services will be held at graveside.

Mr. Jensen was fatally injured last Friday morning in a one-car accident near Fort Dodge.

Howard William Jensen, Jr., the son of Howard W. and Thelma Jensen, was born June 8, 1933, on a farm south of Duncombe. He started his elementary schooling in Duncombe and later attended the Webster City schools.

He entered the armed services in 1953 and served overseas with the Army in Germany. He was discharged in 1955 and returned to Webster City where he had farmed and worked in construction work since that time.

He was united in marriage May 12, 1961 to Beverly West, and the couple resided in Webster City.

Surviving are one daughter, Jacquelyn; one son, William Howard; his mother; five brothers and four sisters, Duane Jensen, Fort Dodge, Mrs. Richard (Geraldine) Hayden, Valley, Neb., Mrs. William F. (Dorothy) Becker, Jr., Fort Dodge, Mrs. Roger (Marlene) Anderson, Blairsburg, Darrell Jensen, Webster City; Marvin Jensen, Eagle Grove, Gary Jensen, Callender, Iowa, Mrs. Lanny (Joyce) Hill, Manson, and Pfc. Terry Jensen, now in Vietnam and who has been notified of his brother's death. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, who died in infancy.

He was a member of the American Legion.
