Jolyn Fredericksen, 81, of Webster City, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Eichler officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery following the services. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Jolyn Wihelmine Vestweber, daughter of John and Cora Lindloff Vestweber, was born on a farm near Dows on July 22, 1934. The family moved to Goldfield in 1939. She graduated from Goldfield High in 1951. After graduation she moved to Webster City and began work as a billing clerk at Beam Manufacturing where she worked for 37 years. She retired from Electrolux in December of 1989 in the capacity of Manager of Material Control. On July 11, 1954 she married Harold (Sonny) Fredericksen at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. They enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling and spoiling their cats. Sonny preceded her in death on August 26, 2001.

Jolyn is survived by in-laws, Norma Vestweber, Pam Fredericksen, Donna Lu Fredericksen and Larry Willson; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John and Harry Vestweber.

Jolyn was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Woman Missionary League, Ladies Aid and the Deborah Elizabeth Circle where she held various offices.
