Local High School Girl Dies of Pneumonia

Miss Johanna Walterman of Kamrar Succumbs Yesterday Morning to Two Days Illness With Pneumonia - Would Have Graduated Next June.

Miss Johanna Walterman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sander Walterman, residents of Kamrar, passed away yesterday forenoon at 10 o'clock, at her home in Kamrar, of pneumonia, after only a two days illness. Miss Walterman had been suffering with a severe cold all week, but her condition was not thought to be serious until Saturday morning. She was in the graduation class of the local high school, having attended high school here for the past two years.

Miss Walterman was nineteen years of age and leaves besides her parents, three brothers and five sisters, one brother, Hio Walterman, having died in France from whose soil his body was removed to the Kamrar cemetery last summer. The surviving brothers and sisters are: Messrs. Eppo, John and Sander Walterman; Mrs. Mary Simpson, Mrs. Fred Wilson, Mrs. Elmer Knutson, and the Misses Carrie and Jessie Walterman, all of Kamrar.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock at the German Presbyterian church of Kamrar, conducted by Rev. H. N. Gerdes, the pastor. Interment will be beside the brother, Hio Walterman, in the German cemetery east of Kamrar.
