George Mamminga, 95, Fort Dodge, formerly of Kamrar, died Oct. 10, 1993 at the Expo Health Care Center in Fort Dodge. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Church, east of Kamrar, with the Rev. Craig Bex officiating. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, east of Kamrar. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be taken to the church.

George Mamminga, son of John and Gepke (Johnson) Mamminga, was born Nov. 7, 1897 on a farm east of Kamrar. He attended school in Kamrar and had always been employed in farm work in the Kamrar area.

He is survived by sisters, Grace Klaver of Webster City and Esther Klaver of Kamrar; brothers, Carl Mamminga of Kamrar and Milton Mamminga of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters.

He was a member of the Community Church of Kamrar.
