Mrs. Pearl Luppes, 75, a longtime Hamilton county resident, died early Tuesday evening at the Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient the past three weeks.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian church at Kamrar with the Rev. Marvin D. Camp officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Friday, at which time the casket will be taken to the church.

Pearl Meyer, daughter of John and Bertha Larson Meyer, was born Jan. 24, 1904, north of Blairsburg. She attended rural schools in the Blairsburg community.

On Sept. 11, 1926, she was united in marriage with Johnnie J. Luppes, and the couple farmed in the Blairsburg community.

Her husband preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1957, and she moved to Webster City where she had resided at 1225 Mary Lane.

She is survived by three sons and four daughters: Orvil Luppes, Johnnie Luppes and Kenneth Luppes, all of Blairsburg; Mrs. Harvey (Aretta) Muxfeldt, Mrs. Iona Hoversten and Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Nixon, all of Webster City, and Mrs. Gary (LaVonne) Hanson of Stanhope; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers; Mrs. Glen (Mabel) Finch of Clarion, Ira Meyer, Clarion, and Ralph Meyer, Clearwater, Fla.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Veryl; her parents; two brothers and one sister.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian church at Kamrar.
