PROMINENT FARMER NEAR KAMRAR DEAD

Passes Away at Mercy Hospital In This City as Result of Appendicitis.

Simon S. Greenfield, a prominent farmer of Liberty Township, passed away at Mercy hospital yesterday morning following a two weeks illness with appendicitis. Mr. Greenfield contracted a severe attack of appendicitis a fortnight ago at his home near Kamrar and was brought to the hospital in this city immediately where an operation was performed. His death, coming after so short an illness, is a great shock to the many relatives and friends of the Greenfield family.

The deceased was born in Germany and reached the age of sixty years.
